How it works

How it works: from the call to the payout.

Four steps. 48 hours to the finished report. We stay with you until everything is settled.

In four steps

The process in detail

Every step clearly laid out. You always know what happens next.

  1. Free consultation and scheduling

We advise you on your situation free of charge and, if needed, set up an inspection appointment.

    • A brief description of the damage (phone, WhatsApp or form)
    • Check of who's liable and who covers the costs
    • A firm proposed appointment, often the same day
  2. The appraiser comes to you, free of charge

We inspect and document the damage on site with you. As a rule, this takes just 15 minutes.

    • Mobile damage, measurement and photo documentation
    • An appointment to fit your schedule, Saturdays too
    • If needed, measurements, axle geometry, interior check
  3. The report is prepared and sent

Within 48h we prepare the report and support you all the way to the payout.

    • A legally sound report, digital or by post
    • Sent to you, your lawyer and the insurer
    • Questions anytime by phone or email
  4. Payout of the compensation

You receive the compensation directly from the insurer into your account.

    • Support until everything is settled
    • Clear correspondence with the other party's insurer
    • If they cut the amount, we push back with solid expertise

Checklist

What to bring to your appointment

These documents and items speed up the inspection. If something's missing, we'll still find a way, just let us know.

  • Vehicle registration (Zulassungsbescheinigung Teil I)

The basis for identifying and valuing the vehicle.

  • Accident or damage report

If available, e.g. the police report or the claim notification to the insurer.

  • The other party's insurance details

The insurer, license plate and claim number speed up the process.

  • Vehicle key

For the interior check, diagnostic readout and function tests.

FAQ

Common questions about the process

How quickly can I get an appointment?
Usually the same or the next business day. We handle urgent cases as a priority.
Do you come to me, or do I come to you?
Either works. We inspect on the move across the whole Karlsruhe region and surrounding area, or at our office in Karlsruhe-Durlach.
How long does the on-site inspection take?
Depending on the extent of the damage, 30 to 60 minutes. Classic car appraisals take longer (1-2 hours) because the mechanics are checked more thoroughly.
When will the report be ready?
Normally 48 hours after the inspection. Urgent cases often in 24 hours (only if no residual value assessment is needed, so not for total losses). Delivered digitally or by post, to you, your lawyer and the insurer.
